This one focuses more on humor and less on story than Mega Tokyo Siberia Post: Tsuki's fake news page. It has some funny stuff. Too bad he doesn't update very often... Tagging Random Rant Box |

And school has ended. A month ago. So yeah, it's been a while since I've posted.
I think this will probably be my last post. As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting anyway, so I figured I would make it official. This blog is CLOSED Also, as an interesting side note, the word "blog" is not in the Blogger dictionary. Neither is "Blogger" Friday, August 29, 2003
I haven't posted for like a month. Haven't had much to say. Well... that's a lie. A lot of blog-worthy stuff has happened, I just haven't posted anything. If that upsets you then, well, you need to get a life. This is, after all, just a blog, and not a very good one at that.
Here’s basically what you missed: School started. They have raised the bullshit level over there by around seven fold. I won’t go into individual things; I don’t want to piss myself off. If I didn’t care about being poor and homeless and whatnot for the rest of my life then I’d drop out. Keep in mind that I enjoy learning, and I used to like school. I also got a new toy. A TV capture card for my computer. It works great until you try to record stuff. For some reason it isn’t recording sound. Somewhere there is a setting that I need to play with, but I don’t know where. Once I get it working it will be pretty cool. There was something else I wanted to write about, don’t remember what though… ~~Jeff Friday, August 01, 2003
Well, if you are smart then you downloaded Escape Velocity: Nova, and have been playing it. You may have noticed that you can't capture ships, and the main story lines stop half way through.
This is becasue you don't have the registered version. You have two options to get the entire game. You can either pay the game makers $30 bucks to send you a registration key, or you can go here. It's the fourth post down. This was the only method I found that doesn't crash the game. Well, it does, but only when you exit, so it's cool. ~~Jeff Tuesday, July 29, 2003
Darn. I forgot about installation time. Guess I'm gonna have to wait another few minutes.
It's installed. Yay! ~~Jeff
If you are a Mac user then you have probably heard of a game called Escape Velocity. It's a great old game, that is only availible for the Mac. Not only that, but it was free. You could download it and play the full game for as long as you wanted. It didn't cost you a cent. The only catch was that a joker named Hector would hassle you periodicly if you didn't register (buy, for those of you who don't remember the days when demos were called shareware versions).
Well, to all you PC users out there, our day has come. The third game in the Escape Velocity series, called Escape Velocity: Nova. Has been released for windows. I don't know when it was released, but I just found out about it. In about a minute in a half I will be done downloading the game. I am realing looking forward to it. After I play it, and see if it is as good as I remember the original being I will post a link to where everyone can go and download it. Ok, my download is done. I'm gonna shut up now. ~~Jeff Monday, July 28, 2003
Hey, check it out. I have access to the blog, so I can make long winded replies to stuff in the zonkboard without wasting zonkboard space.
Tsuki, I understand what you are saying. Presets are boring, they make everyone's pages look the same. There is no creativity in a preset. However, you also have to keep in mind that blogs, especially those on blogspot, are designed so that both people with ton's of web authoring experience and people who have never even heard of HTML can use them with equal functionality. They even have link and formatting buttons to help people who know nothing of HTML. But people who know HTML can make a layout as simple or as complicated as they want. Heck, we can even set the thing to upload to a different server via FTP. And BTW, I wouldn’t submit this thing until I get tired of it and make a new one. I don’t want a couple thousand people with the exact same layout as me. Oh, and did you notice that I officially named this layout Pineapple Upside-Down Cake? Wonder where I got the idea for that… And also, you might wanna take a look at the links. Troy, I got your e-mail, but can’t reply. Apparently my e-mails to you are being refused. Turn down your anti-spam crap or something. ~~Jeff |
